‘Chicks from Hell’ – Sharon Neeman, singer-songwriter and translator extraordinaire. Her way with words brings to the stage authentic life experiences, revealing their humorous and ironic sides!
Judy Cohen, singer-songwriter and English teacher, shares with us her observations on the Scene, with its pomp and circumstance, and adds a few navigation tips.
Sharon and Judy have been performing together as Chicks From Hell since 2006, sharing with the audience, through originals and covers, their own ironic, feminist take on things.

*“The Unstrung Heroes” and friends “A threatening threesome (sometimes a fearsome foursome) specializing in a traditional folk repertoire: Canadian (in both official languages), English, Irish, Scottish, American. Members of the troupe: Ora Paltiel (vocals, spoons, kazoo); A. Mark Clarfield (guitar, vocals, banter); Barry Knishkowy (fiddle, vocals); sometimes one or two of children pop in to contribute. At this gig they will also be joined by the inimitable Lynn Lewis on mandolin.

These local heroes, whatever their number, need very little introduction to our music community. They have played numerous times at the Tel Aviv and Jerusalem Folk Music Evenings and also at Jacob’s Ladder, Zichrona and other folk clubs throughout Israel.

Expect a preview of some of their songs they will be performing at the upcoming Jacob’s Ladder festival later in March.

Tamar & Daniel hail from Jerusalem. Tamar is a singer, song writer and a composer, a jewelry designer, and an art addict. She has a few released songs of hers that you can find here:

Daniel is a talented musician with a M.D in classical piano performance from the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance, a piano teacher, composer and a performer. He started playing at the age of 5. Daniel has been performing from a very young age and now preparing other young student to be great pianists.

*Scott Fields- Scott is a regular at our evenings. He is an Irish enthusiast, but tonight Scott will be performing a set of gospel and gospel-ish songs
